We're a two person studio on the Crystal Coast. We build custom websites for small businesses around here, and for anyone outside the area who wants the same thing done properly.
01 / The gap
You can run a great business and still have a website that makes people think otherwise.
A lot of good shops around here are working off a site somebody put together years ago, a page that was never finished, or nothing at all. Meanwhile the work itself is excellent. Customers just can't tell that from the outside.
That's the gap we close. We build sites that match the quality of the business behind them, load fast, read well on a phone, and make it easy for somebody to pick up the phone and call you.

We learn about the business, what you offer, who your customers are, how you want it to look, and what you want the site to do.

We build the site around the business instead of forcing it into a template. You see progress as it comes together.

We finish testing, connect your domain, and put it live. Then we make sure everything works from the outside.

Two people, one studio,
based on the coast
Crystal Coast Online is a locally owned web design business in coastal North Carolina, run by Braydon Johnson and Ayden Mcdonalds.
We started it because a lot of good local businesses are stuck choosing between a template site that looks like everybody else's and no site at all. We think there should be a third option.
We work with businesses around Carteret County and the Crystal Coast, and with clients outside the area when the project's a good fit.

Anything not covered here, just call or text. We'd rather answer it straight than have you guess.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the size of the project. A three page site for a small shop and a ten page site with a quote system aren't the same job, so we don't publish one number. Tell us what you're after and we'll put together a quote for free.
How long does a website take?
That comes down to how big the site is, how quickly we get your content and photos, and how many rounds of changes you want. We give you a realistic timeline with the quote rather than a number we can't hit.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes, that's a good chunk of what we do. We can keep what's working, rebuild the rest, and carry your existing content over so you're not starting from nothing.
Will my website work on phones?
Yes. Every site we build is designed for phones first and tested on tablets and desktops after. That's not an add on.
Can you help with my domain?
Yes. We can help you pick one and register it, or connect a domain you already own. You keep ownership of it either way.
Do I need to provide photos?
Real photos of your business, your team, and your actual work always look better than anything stock, so send whatever you have. If you're short on photos we'll work with you on it and plan the layout around what exists.
Do you only work with businesses on the Crystal Coast?
Local businesses are our focus and we like being close enough to meet in person. That said, we work with clients elsewhere too. Everything we do can be handled over the phone and email if it needs to be.
